Privacy Policy

SolarMaxx Corp. is a solar energy installer operating in Cavite and nearby provinces in the Philippines. The Ka-Saver app is our client portal for monitoring installed solar systems, tracking savings, and managing service requests.

We collect the following personal information from our clients:

• Full name
• Email address
• Mobile phone number
• Home or property address
• Solar system details (installation date, inverter serial numbers)
• Energy generation and savings data from your inverter

Your personal data is used exclusively for:

• Providing access to your Ka-Saver monitoring dashboard
• Communicating service schedules, maintenance visits, and support tickets
• Calculating and displaying your energy savings
• Sending important system alerts (faults, low performance)
• Complying with our after-sales warranty obligations

We do not sell your data to third parties, use it for advertising, or share it outside of SolarMaxx Corp. and its direct service providers.

We process your personal data in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines. Our legal basis for processing is:

• Consent — obtained at the time of onboarding by your SolarMaxx account representative
• Contract — processing is necessary to fulfill our service agreement with you

We retain your personal data for the duration of your service contract with SolarMaxx Corp., plus an additional 5 years for warranty and legal compliance purposes. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted or anonymized.

Under RA 10173, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to update inaccurate information
• Erasure — request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Object — withdraw consent for non-essential processing
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@solarmaxx.ph and we will respond within 15 business days.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage, access controls limited to authorized SolarMaxx staff, and secure HTTPS communication. However, no system is completely secure — if you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately.

We may update this policy as our services evolve. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Ka-Saver after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
